It’s clear that we live in interesting times when a renowned “fiscal conservative” like Charlie Arlinghaus, president of the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy in Concord, argues in this paper that ratepayers don’t need an independent review of how much ratepayer money will be spent on the upgrade to Public Service of New Hampshire’s Merrimack Station.
This is the equivalent of giving PSNH a blank check to spend ratepayer money for the most expensive and significant New Hampshire energy infrastructure project since Seabrook.
